Make Productivity A Priority This Harvest Season

750ssHere in the Midwest, harvest equipment is making its way out of sheds and into farm shops. Pre-harvest maintenance has begun with the hopes of reducing the amount of down time in the field when harvest is in full swing.

Unfortunately, delays during harvest are inevitable, with idle time spent refueling and servicing equipment. Just in time for the 2011 harvest season, Thunder Creek Equipment has launched a new fuel and service trailer, dubbed the 750SS for “service special”, to help growers mitigate the costs associated with lost productivity.

This rugged, low-profile trailer combines a 750 gallon diesel fuel tank with copious amounts of storage for tools and equipment needed to keep machinery on the move. It comes equipped with two side-mounted tool cabinets and a rear utility box for storing belts, filters, hoses and other parts and tools needed at a moment’s notice.

The 750SS can be equipped with a variety of productivity-enhancing options, including:

  •  A six drawer tool chest mounted in the driver’s side cabinet.
  •  A 3500 W generator and 175 psi air compressor mounted in the rear utility box to operate a electric or air tools in the field.
  •  A 100 gallon Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) delivery system for Tier 4 engines.
  • A commercial-grade 40 gallon per minute gas powered pump capable of fueling large machinery in a matter of minutes.
  • Dual 30 gallon oil tanks for engine and hydraulic oil.

The folks at Thunder Creek Equipment build their trailers with productivity in mind. Double-seam welded tanks, torsion axles, and 10-ply tires are a just a few of the features that make these trailers rugged enough to make it to even the most remote fields. They incorporate baffled fuel tanks, electric brakes, and a breakaway safety system to make traveling at highway speeds safe.

“We have a ‘no compromise’ approach to quality,” says Loren Van Wyk, Owner and President of Thunder Creek Equipment. “We expect each trailer to help keep operators on the move and to last through years of use.”

Thunder Creek Equipment has a presence in 30 states, and delivers trailers all over in the country. Learn more about the 750SS or locate a dealer near you.
